BECOME A TRAINER
To become a Below 100 Trainer you must attend a Below 100 Trainer The Trainer Course. As a Below 100 Trainer, we ask that you make yourself available to train interested agencies in your local area.
Please note there are three requisites to becoming a Below 100 Trainer:
- Trainer candidates must be active or retired, full-time and fully sworn law enforcement officers. No part time, special deputy or reserve officers can become Below 100 Trainers. Candidates may be asked for proof of their service.
- Trainer candidates must be experienced presenters. Examples include serving as an instructor in their current or former agency or serving as adjunct faculty at a local college or university.
- Trainer candidates must first attend a Below Intensive 100 course. Normally a Below 100 Intensive Course is held immediately prior to the Below 100 Train The Trainer Course, so the training can usually be completed in one day.
Visit our Event Calendar to look for upcoming Train The Trainer Courses being taught across the country. If you don’t see a class occurring near you, you can request a course be taught in your area or hosted by your agency, after which a Train The Trainer Course can be added.
